Vigilant watches from the opposite flank of Sentinel, a mirror in posture but not in spirit. Where Sentinel stands grounded in restraint, Vigilant leans forward with a sharper intent—eyes narrowed, jaw set, the tension of movement held just beneath the stone. He is the moment before a decision, the breath before a warning is issued.

The rightward gaze was not chosen for symmetry, but for balance; in old houses, guardians were paired to read both paths of approach. Vigilant carries that tradition—shoulder angled, wings half-lifted, the sense that he has already heard the thing others have not. No drama. No roar. Just a quiet, unwavering attention.
