Domus Noctis — Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly through the Domus Noctis website.
Please read it together with our Returns Policy and Terms of Service.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be issued when:

  • An item has been approved for return under our Returns Policy

  • The item is received in its original, unused condition

  • The item has not been installed, altered, or damaged after delivery

  • The item is not custom-made, personalised, or marked as final sale

Domus Noctis reserves the right to decline refunds where items show signs of installation, wear, misuse, or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.

2. Process for Requesting a Refund

Please include:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Details of the item(s) you wish to return

  • Photographs if the item is damaged or faulty

Once we receive your request, we will confirm the next steps and provide the correct return address.

3. Receiving Your Refund

Once your returned item is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method only

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 working days

  • Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to complete the transaction

Please note:

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Domus Noctis cannot refund to alternative cards, accounts, or payment methods

  • Refunds may be reduced if the item shows signs of damage or handling beyond normal inspection

4. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

Once verified, we will provide:

  • A replacement

  • A repair
    or

  • A refund

in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

In cases of confirmed fault or error, Domus Noctis will cover return shipping costs.

5. Non-Refundable Items

We cannot offer refunds on:

  • Custom or bespoke orders

  • Personalised items

  • Products that have been installed, cut, or altered

  • Items returned without prior authorisation

  • Gift cards

These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty goods.

6. Partial Refunds

Domus Noctis may apply a partial refund in circumstances where:

  • Items are returned with damaged packaging

  • Items have been handled in a way that diminishes their value

  • Items show signs of use, installation, or modification

Any deduction will reflect the loss of value, as permitted under UK consumer law.
